See more information at: https://www.archdaily.com/958009/2hien-house-cta-creative-architects The house owner expressed a need of space that it can create the connection between family members in the condition of few times after parents’swork and study time of their children. She also wanted a place that it belongs to and connects members, where people can be closed to the nature even though they are living in the noisy and dusty city. The house is designed into two components: a two storeys house in the front and a wooden house in the back, connected each other through the back-garden. The ground floor frees up all the spaces to create a seemless connectivity from new to old, from front to back. The second floor was divided into a parent’s area and children’s area, ensuring privacy. These two spaces are like eaves, connect to each other via a bridge and toward the void to kitchen space. It forms the horizontal and vertical connection among members: the children who are afraid of ghosts might see their parents when they are resting on the eave or when the are cooking and living downstairs. https://youtu.be/NeRDIk6xMlY We are a team of young architects who have came up with a project named Teu Y Pot following the idea of applying a new model of human settlement in local context in Ngoc Linh mountain, the natural border between Cambodia, Laos and Viet Nam. This aimed to: Protect the forest in central highland of Vietnam. Try to preserve traditional cultural values in that region. Support the ethnic minority to survive and benefit from the forest while conserving it. Experiment a new lifestyle that is in harmony with nature and honor the values of manual works. The project has two phases: Phase 1 Da Lat City: Building up capability of team members, lay the financial foundation for the team, carry out feasibility study Phase 2 Kontum: implementation. Our tasks are based on four aspects: Natural building: design, renovate and build houses, farms with the local reusable and natural- friendly materials, as well as suitable for human scale. Natural art: reserve the culture values of local ethnic. Natural farming: do farming by ourselves aimed to self-provided food. Sustainable life-style : inspired people to follow a way of life with healthy body and peaceful mind.

Him Lam Cho Lon Residence Landscape

The project aims to: Design green spaces for all residents to relax and recharge energy after a long working day. Increase the green space in the city where the community spaces and parks are not enough for a growing population. The project includes four theme parks: The outdoor sport zone, The children’s playground, The relaxing garden, The meditation garden, providing most of the needs in citizens’ activities. There is also a front view created with the image of Chinese Vietnamese’s culture: Golden Dragon holding pearls embedded in the surrounding “water” landscape as requested by the investor, Him Lam.

An Bang Community Park

An Bang Community Park was designed to be a place for communities activities, for local Worshiping religious activities of all the villagers who were fisher men, for natural education and for sports activities of children and the elder. The park is also a place contributing to climate change adaptation. When the rain come, water will be kept in the football field and the badminton court. Then they will be transferred to be a water playground for kids. The capacity of collecting water of the park provides reducing flooding for the surrounding residential area.

The project aims to: Eliminate the sharp distance between leprosy patients and Qui Nhon citizens by creating a children park immersed in nature where all the kids in the city can play together, encourages interaction between children in the leprosy village and those in Qui Nhon city.. Therefore, create a community full of love and acceptance in order to reinforce the sense of community Reserve the beautiful and comfortable environment of a 100 years old village which was designed by French church in a mountain valley and increase the amenity conditions for people who first came here to hide from others and who had leprosy recovery Develop the area that has been the balance between heritage conservation and economic increase Develop tourism potential
