GIZ is there to support the Ministry of Construction (MoC) with policy recommendations as well as to assist the 5 provincial governments on topics such as sustainable urban drainage, adaptation to climate change, Disaster Risk Management (DRM) and Local Early Warning Systems (LEWS). Urban Planner, Drainage Designers, Operators, Social Workers, etc. will work together in every city to find out the optimal integrated solutions that increase the resilience to rising water levels caused by climate change. Based on the research data, positioning a location that implemented the previous proposals by surveying citizens, designing and building project’s works.
